Overview
The National workshop on Statistical Data and Metadata eXchange (SDMX) will be organised in Jakarta, Indonesia over two days from 18 to 19 December 2024 to complement the first workshop on FDES 2013 that was organised and hosted by BPS-Statistics Indonesia from 12 to 14 August 2024. The national workshop is organized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in collaboration with BPS-Statistics Indonesia as part of the Statistics and Data Project “Resilient and agile National Statistical Systems to meet post-COVID-19 data needs to recover better” under the 14th tranche of the United Nations Development Account.
The main goal of the national workshop is to introduce to National Experts to SDMX Standard and how to build some structures used for reporting and dissemination of environmental statistics identified during the first national workshop in August 2024 in the context of this standard.
The workshop will provide the participants with hands-on experience in SDMX data modelling and mapping. The target audience for the national workshop are national agencies that are responsible for the collection and dissemination of environment statistics and data, as well as IT colleagues responsible for interoperability, API’s and data dissemination.
