The National Marine Litter Data Collection Training Workshop was held from 13-22 August 2019 in the coastal counties of Kenya, in partnership with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) of Kenya, the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI), the Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association (WIOMSA), and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).
