Between 2016 and 2020, UN-Habitat and UNICEF produced 28 neighbourhood profiles in disadvantaged areas of Lebanon to support evidence-based programming amid crises like the Syrian refugee influx, economic instability, COVID-19, and the Beirut Port blast. These profiles offer vital baseline, multisectoral data to guide humanitarian and development responses but are limited in scope, comparability, and timeliness. As one-time assessments, they capture only a snapshot in time, highlighting the need for updates.
