UNEP contributes to measuring progress towards the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda and this is through capacity building, data compilation, validation and reporting. Storylines on the progress of the SDG Indicators under UNEP’s custodianship with its underlying data are prepared and reported on yearly basis to support the Secretary General Progress report and the SDGs Progress report on the implementation of the SDGs.
